FreightHub Logistics handled a 610 kg perfume project split between boutiques in New York, London and Singapore. The cargo was identified as UN1266, a flammable liquid, and repacked in Germany before the consignments continued by different transport modes.
Collection was tied to the production schedule. Bottling finished on May 13 at 13:15, and a dedicated vehicle collected the shipment by 16:00. FreightHub Logistics had coordinated a loading slot with the manufacturer and prepared shipment information including item details, batch numbers, storage temperatures and volumes per SKU.
Changing the export plan and repacking
The original plan involved a French airport. FreightHub Logistics reports that the outer packaging could not be processed under the expedited dangerous-goods procedure planned there, so the cargo moved by road to Germany for export handling. This was a shipment-specific acceptance problem, not a general restriction on French perfume exports.
At the German logistics hub, FreightHub Logistics checked packaging compatibility, volume and weight limits, markings and safety data sheets. The team prepared dangerous-goods declarations and photographed each pallet for a packaging report sent to the client.
By 07:00 on May 14, the cargo was at a customs terminal near Frankfurt. FreightHub Logistics reports that the EX1 export declaration was filed and released that day through ATLAS.
Different transport legs for each destination
For New York, FreightHub Logistics records a direct Lufthansa flight to JFK on May 15, arrival the same day, and customs clearance and boutique delivery on May 17.
The London consignment travelled by truck and ferry through the Brussels cargo hub with a Dangerous Goods Note. CMR documentation and labels were reissued at the transit point.
For Singapore, the cargo flew with Qatar Airways via Doha, departing on May 15 and reaching the boutique on May 18.
Records for separate consignees
Consignee documents included invoices with SKU details, packing lists, route sheets and photographic evidence of pallet condition and labels. The preparation linked the shared production and packing work to the requirements of separate receiving boutiques.
A new perfume shipment needs its own classification and packaging assessment.
The reported deliveries
FreightHub Logistics reports delivery to the boutiques, including New York on May 17 and Singapore on May 18.
Prepare a perfume shipment for review
Provide the safety data sheet, quantities and pack sizes, gross weights, packaging details and collection date. List each consignee and delivery deadline separately. Include available product and batch information so that the proposed route, cargo acceptance and destination requirements can be assessed before a booking is made.
