01 / CONTAINER FREIGHT STRATEGY

Flexible FCL and LCL ocean shipping tailored to your volume.

Volume, cargo dimensions, transit sensitivity, and budget help determine whether a dedicated container (FCL) or consolidated sea freight (LCL) delivers the best fit. Share your origin, destination, weight, and volume (CBM); the team will assess the route, schedule and available services.

Volume & cargo assessment

We evaluate dimensions, weight, stackability and any hazardous classification to assess whether exclusive container capacity (FCL) or cost-efficient groupage (LCL) fits the shipment.

Integrated port & inland routing

From origin drayage and terminal/CFS handling to customs clearance and final on-carriage, we design the transport plan around vessel schedules, cut-off dates and confirmed handovers.

Transparent terms & space review

We review carrier-space options, demurrage/detention terms and transit milestones before departure; final space, timing and port-side charges remain subject to carrier and route confirmation.

Sea freight shipping options

VOLUME, HANDLING & TIMING

FCL /
Full-container load

Dedicated container capacity using suitable standard or specialised equipment, such as 20′ DC, 40′ DC, High Cube, Open Top, Flat Rack or Reefer, where available and appropriate. It can reduce intermediate handling for commercial shipments when the equipment and route are confirmed.

Higher-volume cargo, dedicated capacity and sealed direct transit; the economical break point is assessed for the shipment.

LCL /
Less-than-container load

Consolidation for cargo that does not require an entire container. Origin CFS consolidation and destination deconsolidation can be arranged where available; charges and minimums depend on the carrier, route, weight and measured volume.

Small to mid-sized freight, regular inventory flow and shared-space economics; the economical break point is shipment-specific.

Breakbulk /
Project & non-containerized

Shipment-specific planning for oversized machinery, heavy-lift equipment and structural components that exceed standard container dimensions. Crane handling, specialised vessel stowage, lashings and port supervision are included only where confirmed for the cargo, port and appointed partners.

OOG machinery, heavy lift, industrial plant cargo and project freight, subject to a dedicated feasibility review.

GLOBAL OCEAN LOGISTICS

Seamless coordination from origin to destination port.

Our teams in Germany, the Netherlands and China coordinate carrier bookings, terminal handovers, customs brokerage and inland delivery with the responsible parties and the shipment scope confirmed before booking.

How do I choose between FCL and LCL for my shipment?

As a general planning rule, LCL may suit smaller shipments and FCL may suit larger volumes or cargo needing dedicated space. The right option depends on CBM, weight, dimensions, handling, route, schedule and carrier rates; the team assesses the shipment before quoting.

Can you handle door-to-door sea freight including inland collection and delivery?

We can coordinate end-to-end multimodal transport, including supplier collection and destination road or rail delivery, when the route, cargo, offices and transport partners support the requested scope. Confirm both addresses and site constraints.

Do you provide customs clearance and port terminal handling?

We coordinate export/import customs brokerage, applicable transit documents, tariff classification and terminal handovers with the responsible parties. Customs, storage and demurrage treatment depend on the goods, countries, route and agreed scope.

What details are required to get an accurate sea freight quotation?

Share origin and destination ports/addresses, cargo description, total gross weight, volume in CBM or packed dimensions and piece count, cargo-ready date, and special handling needs such as IMO/dangerous goods or temperature control. The resulting rate and routing remain subject to verification.
