Renewable energy equipment may travel as standard containerised freight or as a shipment that needs individual project planning. Dimensions, weight and the delivery schedule determine the starting point. A consignment of electrical components and a larger item of project equipment should not be quoted on the same assumptions.

Solar equipment and technical components
Our China team can assess suitable solar modules and photovoltaic equipment, inverters, electrical components, mounting systems and related supporting equipment. Planned inventory and project deliveries need a clear cargo-ready date and receiving schedule so that freight options can be compared against the actual requirement.
Suitable wind-energy components, control equipment and other technical items can also be assessed. Identify each type of equipment and its packaging rather than describing the entire shipment simply as renewable energy cargo. Any special handling requirements should be included in the brief.
02 / Project pieces
Larger equipment needs a separate handling assessment
China supports project cargo and oversized or overweight shipments. Acceptance of a particular piece of renewable energy equipment depends on its dimensions, weight, route and handling requirements. Share per-piece measurements and explain the collection and delivery conditions before a transport plan is agreed.
Project cargo capability is limited in both the Netherlands and Germany. Germany also has limited oversized and overweight cargo capability. Support from the European network must therefore be assessed for the actual shipment; it is not a promise that every oversized movement can be handled locally.

The Netherlands and Germany offices can contribute their supported freight, customs and warehousing services where relevant to the route, but they are not dedicated renewable energy industry offices.

Air freight
Air freight can be considered for urgent components or smaller technical items where the cargo is suitable.
Road freight
Road freight supports accepted origin and destination legs.
Rail freight
Rail through China is an option for suitable China-Europe cargo. The route, cargo profile and required arrival date need review before a service is selected. Rail is also available through the Netherlands, but not through the Germany office.

Which office leads renewable energy enquiries?
Our China team leads the renewable energy offering. The Netherlands and Germany may support their available services along an agreed route, without being presented as dedicated renewable energy offices.
Can you transport oversized energy equipment?
China supports oversized and project cargo, assessed individually. Dimensions, weight, handling and routing must be reviewed before acceptance. Project cargo capability in the Netherlands and Germany is limited.
Does project cargo support include installation?
This freight offering covers the agreed transport and handling scope. Do not include installation or other site services in the plan unless they have been separately agreed.
